3/4 Irish Wolfhound, 1/4 Alsatian. . . or so it was claimed *shrug* The Irish Wolfhound is a definite, at least. And he DOES look GSD/Alsatian in the face.

He is 125 lbs. of puppy energy.

I hope your fan BLOWS a lot better than all the ones we've had experience with in the past years, I suspect they suck compared to the ones you used to be able to buy...It's either because the blades are straight now (compared to curved), much less powerful motors or a combination of the two..

So... NEVER... IT'S NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR HIM TO HOG THE ENTIRE FAN! XD

Hehe, I have a photo of our dog Tesla basically doing exactly the same thing a couple of months back after a long run (he's half husky so rather enjoys that).

Guess you'll just need to find yourself another fan to cool down, he isn't moving from the looks of it...

My dog is much the same way. If she's being restless or a pest, putting the fan on the floor almost instantly gets her to lay down. Usually rocking out with her crotch out. :P

You should get him one of those 2ft square fans. They move a ton of air, but also cover a large body decently. Not too loud either.

My pups do the same thing but with the space heater on the floor. They'll lay down right in front of it, even it's blowing very hot air right on their faces. Crazy mutts!

I bought a small fan just for my cat that I have at his favorite place to lay to cool down. Granted, that's right in the way of the kitchen half on the tiles and half on the carpet.
