Getting older, Jake bides his time at a bar at Solaris VII -- a very rare stop for him. His nametag is peeled off more out of frustration for what his name means, than actually hiding. The only thing keeping him from getting attacked in a hostile environment like this is fear.
He's done a lot of good in his life. However, for the few things he's done wrong, plus the death of his mate and disappearance of his only surviving child, as well as really being a fox in a human world, has left his spirit in shambles.
