Practice on Baptiste's special elemental anatomy. The inside of his stomach is flesh, sort of. It looks like a glowing green geode yet yields and flexes to the touch. It folds and crinkles to accomodate different amounts of air, water, and... matter.

Everything melts under the green light. First, dirt, dust, and dead skin drips off like morning dew. It collects and falls from every surface and soon darkens cloth with dampness. For a while it can be calm and comfortable, but soon you'll find that even lightly touching the soft rock is enough to badly scrape a palm. Your outer layers are starting to slough off in pieces and strips. Every drop of blood that hits the water swirls and dissipates to nothing.

You're being taken apart and transformed into more of the same fluid that surrounds you. With less and less air available, you're in danger of drowning in /yourself/. But it doesn't hurt. As long as the beast isn't disturbed, the walls shift minimally and you can float in peace. With your sacrifice, the elemental is renewed with the pure water needed to destroy demons.

The strange thing is that more water, in volume and mass, is created than there is 'matter'. The more alive and freshly living something is means that more water is produced in this process. Baptiste might not be an entirely holy being himself and appears to transfer the energy of living beings to matter.
