TJ was walking home from school--he missed the bus because he had to serve detention for correcting the teacher for the fifth time in one day. It wasn't TJ's fault that the teacher and the book used the very outdated Bohr model for atoms. TJ was just helping when he stood up and explained how the Schrödinger model was a lot closer to reality. He really didn't deserve this kind of treatment, and then he missed the bus! "How unfair!" TJ thought to himself.
As TJ passed the park, he began to feel tired. His legs felt fatigued, and his arms were sore--he wasn't used to having to use crutches for this long of a stretch. Finally, TJ sat down on a bench, exhausted. "I'm never going to make it home,: he sighed.
As TJ buried his face in his paws, he noticed a snout a few inches away. The fox attached to the snout asked, "What's wrong, buddy?"
TJ sighed again, trying not to cry. "I missed the bus at school, and I had to walk home, but now I'm too tired."
"Too tired? Like a bicycle?" the other fox joked.
TJ giggled, as he liked a good pun. "Not like that. My legs don't work right, and I have to use these crutches," TJ said, motioning to the blue shafts laying on the ground by the bench.
"Those look pretty wicked. By the way, I'm Maks," Maks said, "What's your name?"
"TJ," TJ replied. "Hey, could you run to my house and get my dad to pick me up? I'll give you my address."
Maks giggled, "I'll do you one better than that. I'll take you there myself! Climb up on my back, and away we'll go!!!"
TJ climbed onto his new friend, directing him to his family's abode. His parents were so glad that TJ made a new friend, they didn't even punish him for his indiscretion in school.
(Funny story: this was orginally supposed to be TJ getting a ride from his brother, Sam, but somehow the artist got things confused. Oh-well, I still like the results, and I met a new person because of it.)

You came up with an awesome story, I love it! :D You have a cute sense of humour, with that tire pun or a phrase like "fox attached to the snout". It made me giggle! Thanks for writing this. Glad I could carry you home and we became friends. :)
(And thank you for unintentionally getting me such an awesome picture, hehe)
