Sorry for shit speedpaintings, guys.
This week has been a MASSIVE FACE SLAP. But kinda in a good way? Just hella busy and a lot of life changes are lining up for us YIKES.
Honestly so much has happened, that if I wanna put it all on here I'd have to look at a calender to remember days and what's happened.
Pretty much, we had three family birthdays in four days (26th, 27th, 29th) one of which was a huge surprise party we set up- the other two were either dinner/evenings out or family dinner at home.
I went to Savannah with my dad and kid brother, acting as a sort of tour guide for their first 'fun' visit there. (Dad hasn't been since he took me as a child, and apparently the weather was really bad that weekend and some other problems came up that caused him to not really enjoy the trip)
But they adored it. We didn't get to half of the stuff worth seeing in the city, but you could live there your entire life and never see or experience every beautiful place. At least, that's how I feel about the city.
Huge deal though- we stopped by the apartment we'll be signing a lease for- and dad loved Savannah so much that he's seriously thinking about moving there permanently as well. Just a few hours in Savannah really can change your life, guys. Not even kidding.
Kind of bittersweet farewell in Savannah though- parts of the city come to feel permanent. They feel like living, breathing limbs to one whole body. I found out that the reason Tapa's has been inactive is because the owner died.
Such a wonderful man, the restaurant was always so lively and friendly and the food was amazing- best spaghetti and meatballs you'll ever have. But his son couldn't handle the food business and gave it up.
Almost makes me teary-eyed, thinking it's gone forever now. It wasn't a chain restaurant or anything you can just drive a city over to experience, but the memories are always there. I'll probably still always think of it whenever I hear Billy Joel's song 'Italian Restaurant' though, as;ldkfjas;df
Ughmyheart
RIP Tapa's By Anna
But anyway, because of all that I've been away from the computer for several days- only checking messages and online stuff with my phone. (Which I hate doing h'ohmygosh)
AND NOW-- in a couple of days I'll be subbing in for dad on a co-family trip to Myrtle Beach for a week. Which sounds like something I should be really excited about? But at this point with all these distractions and disruptions I just wanna work on art a;lskdjfs;df
So I'll be bringing my tablet and having a lot of down time in the condo just working on whatever comms are appropriate for the company around me. (Can't be drawin' no horsedicks or puss around these high end folks)
Hopefully that means you guys can expect at least SOME activity inbetween me being the parental supervision for the kiddos and the DD for the drunkaroos who go out partying.
If I'm out of the hotel, it'll only be to go to Margaritaville, Black Market Minerals, or to pick shells off the beach whenever the sun isn't blazing-ass-bright.
Anyway,
THANKS FER READIN' GUYS! It's been hectic and busy but I'm having a blast.
Went ahead and got my Halloween decorations out from under the bed too. GONNA HALLOWEENTOWN DIS BEDROOMBITCH UP IN A BIT.

Oh wow, so much going on in such a small spit of time.
But you're getting an apartment IN Savannah! You won, LA!
Take that bucket list!
I hope you're able to relax a bit on your trip, there's always time to take a breather.
I love this picture by the way, you should totally get a map of Savannah tattoo like that, it would be the dopest.
Great work again.
