"Shawn is half-roo... I've drawn her/myself pregnant a couple times so I guess it is canon that she doesn't do the tiny-roo-to-pouch like a full-roo. I should draw her with a babbeh in the pouch at some point though, I imagine she can USE the pouch, it's functional, just that her offspring have all been only 25% kangaroo so... hybrids. Screwing with all the sense-making."

I had this idea when Shawn was pregnant with her third child and figured that she was the perfect person to draw it.

It would be interesting in a furry world, all the different species dealing with pregnancy in different ways. Species that lay eggs or marsupials would not have that big of an ordeal. Placentals get the sort end of the stick on this.

Characters, from left to right, Toulia, Roxie, and Shawn. I had wanted Toulia to have a small egg, but Shawn subscribes to the "growing egg" theory of the video game "Spore" so I just went with it.
