There's something about pencil work that catches my eye, in a good way!

I love the way the hatching flows with the contours of that coat, there's life in the lines.

why did you use blue? since I've seen a cupple of other artist did the same... i'm just curius...

Hey there!

It's partly habit, from my days as an young animator. I've also heard col-erase blue pencils called "animator's blue". It's weird, but the pencils literally make me draw differently!

I got mine from a good-old-fashioned office-supply store. I suspect you can get them at Michael's or Ben Franklin's or some other chain artsy-craftsy store. They are pretty cheap to come by.
