So i'm still freaking busy with day job and broken foot buggin me at other times and i have been working on some fur art but nothing i ready to post just yet...so some filler just so you know i'm rotting but not dead yet....
Going back into prehistoric times again - along with doing anthro art back in the late 70s i was playing around with many ways of distorting human images - one of the ways was what i called "warpage" - a familiar tech in characature, or in expressionist art (Egon Schiele, Munch, etc) - taking it to 3D extremes...some real whack drawings came from that - some part of the brain sort of distorts emphasis stuff like this when we're feeling sick, scared, way to drunk etc...so i was exploring that stuffness....i'll post more eventually...in a way it was just good ol' low-brow comix ;>

i moved to the Salish Sea in early '94, so didn't see those catoons - i'll see if i can find them online.
Influence was caricature technique in general and the idea that if Dali could melt clocks i could melt faces and bend them around...i'll be uploading more of this stuff in next few months.
Sorry to hear you're getting old. i hear they're working to find a second cure for that, as the original cure, while 100% effective, has some side-effects...
