Morwenna is a Open Water furmaiden. Extremely majestic has a way about her like a Siren. More backtory to come.
Thank you RyleneBlanetree this made me happy in my rough day.
Furmaiden Info:
Anatomy
Furmaidens have hollow, porous bones. This makes them lightweight and buoyant.
The thick fur in their ears is used to detect sonar waves, used for swimming in the dark and detecting ships/predators around them.
The gems on their bodies glow, this produces warmth, energy and light.
Their feet are long, thick and strong, used for quick swimming in rough waters and strong currents.
Their tail is split at it's end, acting as a flipper. Tail strength is very strong, used for most of their swimming.
Tendrils under their ears glow as well, also acts as a poisonous barb.
Other Biology
Furmaidens normally reside in water, but are often found on deserted beaches and shores sunbathing and playing in sand.
Feed on seaweed, clams, grabs, small fish and sometimes large turtle, notorious hunters in the water.
Only breed once in their lifetime at the peak of maturity, if they miss this fertile window, they will never reproduce.
Often found swimming with other groups of sea life, such as sea turtles, dolphins and whale pods.
Do not have a set sleeping schedule, Furmaidens nap at random for 1-3 hours, found floating in safe waters during sleep.
