I can respect that. As someone who plays against Tau frequently thank you for not taking more than one. Makes my Dark Eldar sad when they see more than one of those across the table. T__T

You would think. My buddy tends to roll hot as hell for his armor, not to mention all of his other suits just put out soo many shots.

Not to mention Tau literally ignore Dark Eldar's primary defense which is cover. So many smart missiles....

I guess you could always try a haemonculus list, or a deep-striking kabal list. Wracks, grotesques, and engines are all a little more resistant to suits, especially if they can somehow stay within buff distance of a parasite engine while maneuvering into position to get into close combat...Ionno, tau are pretty damn tough :I

That's what I thought, but there is only one problem... I dont have those models. I recently caved and put in some Eldar allies and hopefully my giant distraction Wraith Knight will help my survivability. Eventually I want to run a Dark Eldar/Eldar/Harlequin list. Some kind of... Eldar United list.

Yeah, Tau are a pain in the arse. Best way I've found for my Ratachans to take them out involves, of all things, Guard minis going into melee against Fire Warriors! Out-shooting the Tau is a waste of time, whereas I have managed to lock up a unit of Fire Warriors and a unit of Pathfinders with one Infantry Command Squad. Suits are a little more mucky though. A Talos would probably give one a run for its money as long as it didn't get shot to hell first, but honestly the best way I've found to deal with those suits is to either go heavy on the lascannons and just try to shoot them to hell quickly, or ignore them and concentrate on softer targets. I *have* managed to take out a 'suit in melee combat with a command squad equipped with a power fist, but that isn't really a good option. :P

Ionno. Never played them, haven't read the codex, and don't really have much interest. I guess the only opinion I have to offer is that their codex isn't an updated CSM book, a better Dark Eldar book, or a Sisters of Battle book, and therefore sucks :V

haha thats certainly an interesting take and use of a Bearuy. In all honesty though when I see players using Gundam stuff as (serious) proxies for various units I'm surprised no one considers using the NRX-044_Asshimar, that thing looks completely the part and fits right into the style, rifle and such even look Tauish, and its transformation looks like a giant Tau drone :P
