I've long painted Warmachine and Hordes miniatures, but this is the first piece I thought would actually be appropriate to post on FA...the Pureblood Warpwolf Alpha Warbeast. For those not familiar, Warpwolves are somewhat similar to our Werewolves, but instead of an infection, they are people who willingly undergo ritual transformation to become massive beasts to aid the druidic Circle Orboros in battle. Occasionally, a pair will mate before transforming back, and the offspring may be born in Wolf form, a Pureblood. They retain their human level intellect, combined with the sheer strength of their Warpwolf form, and lead packs of transformed into battle.
