Leo Nekozuki, a brave and powerful ninja lion specialising in fire ninjutsu and martial arts. He strives for justice and protecting those that matter most to him.
Leona Mika, a tough and strong kunoichi lioness specialising in explosive ninjutsu and martial arts. She, too, shares the same ideals as her admirer, Leo.
Together, these two big cats may prove to be a very worthy pairing yet. Their love for their fandom and each other shall settle as the driving force they need to fight evil and all that other awesome stuff.
Imagine the adventures these two would have, eh?
Last month,
wrote a journal about how she was dealing with a huge case of art block and was wondering if she could draw other characters to challenge herself a bit. Seeing as how she's such a sweet and fun artist, how could I possibly resist? I let her have the chance to draw both my characters - Leo Nekozuki and his crush, Leona Mika - together, and the very next day of her posting the journal, she presents me with this lovely drawing!
Amazing poses she drew both Leo and Leona in! Fairly good body definitions for each of them from the inking and line-art she did. Decent poses they're in, too; both seem dynamic and active. Well done on both their anime-inspired hairstyles whilst tweaking them a tad with her own vision; she made Leona's flowing hair very graceful and pretty, and she stylised Leo's hairdo so that while it's not exactly big and fluffy, it's still wild enough and balances well in appearance with the ears. Markings are very well done - especially the bandages - and I especially love how the Naruto-styled ninja sandals are drawn as ninja sandals! Bonus points for the kunai. Plus she got the colours spot-on! Good job matching the colour palettes with those of the coloured drawings I got in the past of my characters! Shading's drawn superbly especially within the clothing creases and body crevices. Great attention to detail!
