I have had odd ideas of what if one could create forms of "technology" that could be somewhat similar to things that we may have in this time period, but used if in say a "older" time period where technology is that of say iron age or close to it, but mystical and magical forces are strong, but perhaps not known much about.

This device was formulated in my mind in an RP I am doing with a friend on the furry-furry.com forums. It is where the "modern" world for reasons unknown was obliterated and the aspects of technology reverted to that of around an Iron age type setting.

As many of you know, Alucard (my character) is one who doesn't age and can rarely die. As such, he lived through periods of time prior to what caused the downfall of the world but has knoweledge of such items. He is then offered a position to be one of the highest symols of power in the world, being a "Cleric of Science". His job is to craete items that can make people's lives a tad bit easier.

This gauntlet is probably Mk. 5 or something. The prototype he developed originally had included full fingers, and only the ice elemental stones. But Alucard then realized that for one, not everyone was humanoid like him, and as such, may not have 5 fingers like he does. Not to mention some who may have paws, or less then 5 fingers. That is why the top three slits are optional.

The insignia is also one that is to in a sense, tell what it is used for or capabilities.

Alucard has capabilities of creating various forms of elemental stones with ease almost.

The metal that makes up most of the glove, is of a similar material that seems extremely resistant to heat and fire.

This variation of the gauntlets are primarily used by a special orginization that can put fires out and attempt to save lives and property. These are lined on the inside with a small bit of rubbery gel like material to increase grip and prevent slippage.

These are primarily put on after the specially designed fire proof suit that these forces wear. The suit design is one that is an ongoing design within Alucard's head due to him trying to be a perfectionist and not wishing to have to re create or add on to devices he has made.

Alucard also has designs in his head to develop a type of breathing apparatus to take in air or surrounding gases and purify them into breathable air for them to breathe which includes a form of eye protection.

He has items for other devices as well, many that are only in the drawing board and blueprints of his mind.

I feel happy to finally get this out of my head. There have been nights where my mind goes into a type of hyper overactive thining mode, trying to think of and about these devices and how to improve them, and how they may look.

I know, the "snap latch" is kinda similar to a watch design. XD

Anywho, I hope some of you enjoy this.

The ice/water elemental stone glows with a type of dark and light blue energy that glows, the gravitational stones with a type of dark purple and minute blackish glow, and the healing/purification stones glowing with a mix of dark pink and white glow.

The insignia is in a sense "stamped" into the back half of the gauntlet.

Anywho, hope you all find this to be interesting. I may do some drawings depicting potential use of the gauntlet. Not sure. It seems so rare that I feel the ability/time/energy/right frame of mind in order to actually do art. XD
