An attempt to improve my skills at painting scenes. This is from a story concept that I am somewhat working on. I drew it to convey the general feeling and setting of the story and to show that even thru the most unimaginable destruction and violence, past the smoke and the falling ashes and behind the bleakest of winters, the sun still shines.
