Digging was too hard. Some nimrod apparently used the backyard as a parking lot once so the soil's full of gravel and enormous roots from both the post oak and the tupelo. So raised beds, I thought. But wood is expensive and also hard work. So I thought straw bales, but they also turned out to be rather expensive for a pony on a budget. So I thought, cardboard box, because I can get those FREE from work. So I asked the internet. The internet said it could be done, so I figured, why not try?
Includes:
Tomatoes (unmarked close outs that cost $1 each. Awesome!
Bell Peppers
Sage
Basil
Marigolds
(and as seeds)
Carrots
Leaf Lettuce
Chives
We'll see how it goes.
