Work-In-Progress: Sellix & Kitoxa
Sellix is the wingless, PotC/Barbosa-ish dragon; Kitoxa's the feather-winged one. Here they are, curled up and cute. They're about 2" diameter, 1" high. (Think of a Papa John's garlic sauce container; about that size.)

Not to say it wasn't fun. It's just I don't often happen across a cache of patience like that. Thank this past week's feverish delerium for that crazy wacky happenstance...
Anyways. Sculpy clay, as yet unfired. You do NOT want to know how many man-hours have gone into this piece; suffice it to say I hulk-smashed! my first seven attempts before ever a photo was snapped. Submitting this now as a sort of proof-of-life, hoping to get it approved (or fine-tuned) so I can fire and paint it and make it pretty. These two've been waiting for this since June. @_@;

No worries. It was fun, just time-consuming and fiddly; needed a couple tries to get it right, and needed the right combo of patience and inspiration and steady hands to roll out and artfully arrange them once I had it figured out. Seriously, they're each about as thick as a pin.
Fun, but if I suddenly experienced a deluge of chars with similar dreads, I'd go bonkers... ^_^;
