Unfortunately, Mack doesn't realize that Varanis can just as easily shift his weight, flip his over, and reverse the submission, but most professional wrestlers are not trained in martial arts quite like a career warrior, so they tend not to see that coming! Nonetheless, there is no powering out of this grip without some finesse, so for the moment, he is trapped!

psst, try raising your arms to get a bit of space, step over his left side, and force your body to fall, causing him to trip over your leg and boom, he's pinned.
