Known as the Tengmalm’s Owl in Europe, the Boreal Owl is a reclusive owl of taiga forests throughout North America and Europe. They feed on voles and other small mammals and sometimes insects. Due to their short stature at 8-10 inches tall, they are predated on by other owls.

The colours on this one are enticing, because the slight gradient lends not only to the lighting effect on the character, but also it's plumage colour.
