These are pinecones that have gotten tired of being lonely and tossed out into the ground. So with years of wishing and hope, some have successfully POOFED into these pine hogs!

I highly recommend that webcomic if you feel like reading sometime. :) Those coneroaches would probably get along very well with your pinehogs, though they have quite different looks and origins!
