I mentioned in my last submission that con sales are typically pretty low for me. One of the ways I buffered that out was by taking commissions at my table, which broke my cardinal rule of engaging with others 100% while dealing. After warming up with that previous sketch, and spending time talking with defiance and company, I felt like it was a responsibility I could take on. Over the course of the convention we must have had a couple hours of quality hang-out time in the Dealer's Den, and for that I am grateful! It'd be nice to take on more work at the table when people can talk me through what their character means to them.
