At most cons, my sales tend to be fairly bleak. When faced with so much downtime, I decided I had the opportunity to try working from my con-table, and for the first time, took on commission work. On Saturday morning I stopped the first person to walk by my table—in this case it was eagle4life—and said, "Hey, there. Do you want a free $75 commission?" His response was a very cautious, if not concerned, "Yes?"
So here it is. This warmup allowed me to take on commissions at the table for the rest of the day, and for that I am thankful!
