This is the start of my batch of personal/vent art work. This one is of my character silently speaking a Prayer while making a stand against the advance of Eternal Darkness.

“I stand before Eternal Darkness, O’ Tawa.
Looming is its unbridled rage and hatred.
For death and destruction, it’s lust is unrivaled.
Remorse it lacks. Attack it will.
It will leave in its wake, corpses of the fallen
and flowing rivers of blood across scorched land.
The darkness will not cease
until the fervency of life is extinguished
and the souls of lives lost
wonder a dead world like orphaned little children.
The Darkness is poised to kill.
Only I stand in its way.

As the Darkness draws near I feel its tendrils.
They attempt to find weakness in me.
They try to wither my resolve.
They try to instill fear in my heart.
They try to make me falter.
The Darkness attacks my spirit for it knows
that I am poised to face it as a last line of defense.

Though it's cruel hate is unequaled by any earthly evil,
I will not Fear.
I will not falter.
I will not retreat!
My Beloved Tawa, I choose to make my stand.
For I fight not for myself.
I fight for all that I love.
My Kingdom,
My Kind
Mother earth.
My Friends.
My Family.
The one….I love.
They need me just as much as I need them.

O’ Tawa
Giver of Life guide me.
Comfort me.
Be my Bulwark against the tide of predators and mortal ills prevailing.
For I stand here before great adversity
so that all I hold dear may see a new day of peace
blessed with joy and happiness by your life giving light.

Here I make my Stand,
a promise to you and to all I love
that I will endure and prevail
I can do no other.
Beloved Deity of the Sun, my one and only beacon, help me!”

Not sure where in the story line I will put this or if it will be put to use. However if I do included this into the Chipmunk Kingdom story line, it will be saved for an endgame type of deal, a final battle. For the time being consider this as a means to vent allot of the stress that's been riding me hard for the past week or two.
