Something somewhat random that I've been working on both for the fun of it and because I need more mice in my gallery! Also, due to the date and the paw shot down there, submitting it on 'Paw Day' seems like a fair thing to do ;)
The mouse in front is
esteban 's fursona, who seems to have a tendency to dress well and wear a fancy robe. Even fancy robes need the occasional mending, however, and Anne (my own little mouse in the back) is on the case! Mice need to support one another, after all.
In all honesty, I don't have too much of a story idea for this aside from Gold (Esteban's mouse) and Anne having a friendly conversation and Anne noticing his robe looking a little bit worn in places. Unable to NOT offer help where she's able, she immediately sets upon fixing it while her mousey guest suggests that she needn't go through such trouble. I suspect he'd also like to have his robe back sooner rather than later, and who knows how many 'rough spots' Anne might find?
I've had an idea in my head for awhile now to have these two characters in a scene together, so I'm happy I got around to drawing it :) Esteban's fursona is one I've wanted to draw for a little while now too, and these two characters just seem like a really fun 'odd couple' to put together.
Hope you all enjoy the results as much as I did, the process :) Esteban's fursona was very fun to work with, and we see far too little of him!

While I don't explicitly have a fursona to represent myself, Gold (the tawny mouse represented here) is a good choice. He's only shown up a few times, and usually in some dramatic finery.
The robe is an Indian kurta, based on a piece that I bought some time ago from an Indian clothing shop in Dallas, TX.
It's very rare that anybody takes on my characters, so I'm appreciative any time someone does. Thanks much-like, Chammy!

Aha, nice to finally have a name for the fellow :) Thanks for that!
I was quite fascinated with that robe, honestly. It just really stuck out as an interesting piece of clothing that gave him a regal kind of look and yet also just looked fun and relaxing for an outfit.
You're very welcome, Esteban :) He was quite fun to work with! It was a good excuse to draw more mice ;)
