Finally finished this today! I spent around 4 hours on this, and I know that there are a ton of things wrong with it, but this was a learning experience in drawing scales! I still have to figure out how to properly shade wing membranes, but I'll get to that later when I'm not exhausted.

So yeah, I finally came up with Saph's new coloration! The pink-ish spots on her body are where her flesh is completely scale-less and weak, but despite that you'll still need strong. sharp weapons to pierce it without either bouncing off or having your weapon bend/break upon impact. Her wings, though thin, are very powerful and can deliver a devastating punch; it's her primary form of attack and the way her wings "hands" are shaped enable her to both walk on them and attack with them.

Saph is completely blind. Both of her eyes were stabbed out on separate occasions by hunters seeking a bounty. Fortunately, she's adapted well to the change and navigates via echolocation.

Her mane consists of coarse fur and quills that exceed lengths of 3ft long. When entering flesh, they swell with blood contact and in turn burrow their way further into victims. They are very hard to remove and contain venom that will gradually eat away at the tissue it is exposed to.

In addition to having thick, pointed scales and long quills, Saph's mouth, in itself, is also a dangerous weapon. She has the ability to spit a corrosive and flammable liquid (which is how she "breathes" fire) from two glands located on either side of the roof of her mouth, placed in the back for concealment and power. By contracting the muscles in her neck and partially closing the glands, she can force the liquid into a gaseous state, wherein it becomes highly explosive when lit by the spark created by her flint-like, serrated back teeth. She herself is immune to the effects of the liquid, and even coats herself in it as a form of defense against other dragons or bothersome hunters. By rattling her scales and lighting the liquid, she can create a temporary cloak of flames over her body.

On rare occasions, she will secrete this liquid from her pores and light it quickly to deter would-be attackers.
