These two rexes are mates :D
Name: Jadeasaur (Jade-ah-saur; Nickname 'Jade')
Gender: Female
Fav. Food: Anything she can eat whole
Fav. Hobbies: Hunting prey, being with her mate, exploring
Likes: Company of friends, misty forests
Dislikes: Caves, sour food, dishonesty
Name: Sapphaesaur (Saff-EI-saur; Nickname 'Sapphire' or 'Saphy')
Gender: Male
Fav. Food: Anything he can eat whole; special fondness for prey that puts up a fight
Fav. Hobbies: Hunting prey, being with his mate, challenging other dinosaurs to competitions
Likes: Rainfall, music (especially power metal), Eating
Dislikes: Foul language, submissive prey, oviraptors
Saphy really likes prey that put up resistance, trying to escape or just fighting back. Comes with that competitive nature I guess, so just curling up and not doing anything? No fun.
Jade doesn't care. Prey is prey, whether it puts up a chase and struggle or not.
Like the raptors before them, both dinos are reasonably intelligent and capable of speech - though they're less willing to converse with potential prey unless they feel they're worthy of conversation. Once befriended, they're highly unlikely to put you on their menu unless relations sour.
They both like talking about T-rex genealogy though, and to a lesser extent dinosaurian history in general, so those are good topics to bring up to avoid being eaten. If a topic begins to bore them, they'll let you know - take that first clue to change the subject. Worst-case scenario, you might end up inside them!
