So I was watching
Ingeir_Palar stream when he asked if anyone had any requests. Needless to say I jumped on the opportunity and said "hey draw monster hunter vore!"
Needless to say he did an excellent job (seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16570536/) and I felt like some kind of terrible opportunist, so I then asked if there was anything I could do in return. at this point someone in chat said "hey, isn't that a trade?" At which point I turned white as a sheet and died.
I haven't done a trade before, mainly because a "trade" is supposed to be mutually beneficial to both parties, and I dislike comparing my artwork to others (who are invariably more skilled than me, I'm happy just seeing everyone as my superior)
Well. This was born. Just promise me you won't look at the first panel too hard, alright? Or the background. In fact, just look away. Please.
So, any piece of artwork ought to have flavour text.
Ingeir Palar was flying about, being a durgon, when he came across a Rathalos. Needless to say the Rathalos, being an arrogant bugger, thought he'd try to impress Ingeir with some complex aerial maneuvers, which led to some kind of horrific mid air collision.
Ingeir then woke up approximately half-a-digestion later (yes that is a standardized unit of time measurement), with the Rathalos nowhere to be seen, and a belly that is much too small to contain one Rathalos. Being smart enough to figure out what two plus two equals, he feels a bit sheepish about the whole affair. Better luck next time, Rathalos. Assuming there is a next time.
Next time I'll have devolved further into some kind of caveman bashing rocks together to produce "art."
Up next is a 6 page request so hold onto your asses, tails, trunks, or whatever else you furries have, because it'll be a fucking age until that's done. Oh and I've got one last exam on thursday, so that'll delay things further. Might do a single panel pic before I finish all 6 pages,

Six page request? You really got to put a limit on how much you're willing to do per request xD
IMO there won't be a next time if Rath is as embarassed about this as I think he is. If he's as arrogant as I think he might be, there'll be a round 2 soon enough but likely with similar results :B

Apart from liking your new icon, you did good!
There are artists on here that are more hyped up, yet constantly use cruddy MSPaint drawings and dont seek to get better...
But you are better than that! You have a decent grip on anatomy, and the lineart is consistent.
As for requests... Take it from me. Unless they are your bestest pals, and you are in on the idea, its best to just politely decline them. Some people dont know the actual effort that some artists have to go through to get their work done (Like the kaiju picture I was working on has been sat around for almost 5 months...)
TLDR,
You're good! Dont shy from art trades, but be picky who you trade to
Make requests... Smaller... Say, Headshots or things like that only, as full pieces are a big ask for free from a random stranger...
