And here we have my Gorgon character, who's the girlfriend of my vampire character; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/16568699/
Some were concerned about her tied up hair. In my world, a Gorgon's "hair" does seem alive, but isn't really, there's no pain to be felt, even when cut. An adult Gorgon also has the ability to control the amount and thickness of the snakes that grow, to suit whatever hair style they feel like having at the time. So don't worry, those cuties aren't being choked by the elastic band!
The snakes are essentially just another part of the person, so they'll show the emotions that the person is feeling.

Thank you!
I really like sorta, making up my own things for monsters that already exist. I really wanted the hair to be something that could change, and be painless. Mostly due to having another Gorgon character, who's a kid but I like the idea of them having a side cut when older.

True.
For my monster-sona, which is a gorgon, I followed the concept design from Monster Girl Encyclopedia wiki where it's part hair and part snake.
