Oh I love where this is going! As a cat, I must say, there's nothing I love better than watching a happy unsuspecting rodent nibbling away at a tasty treat, completely oblivious to the fact he's about to become a tasty treat to some lucky cat himself!

I love every panel, especially the expressions on the characters. The sad look on the poor rat's face when realizes his tummy is empty. The look of hungry longing as he imagines the grapes. The innocent smile as he spies the treats! The full body shot of the happy rat! You put that in to drive cat's like me crazy, didn't you? Oh those nice rounded haunches! Mmmmm, that long meat tail. Ohhh, those big soft ears! Gods, that innocent smile! I'm in danger of pouncing my computer screen!

Mmmm, and then we get the wonderful expression on the rat's face, his eyes closed as he nuzzles the sweet smelling grapes like a lover, while the feline eyes him, a treat more satisfying than any grapes. And then the final panel, full of tension. Cami looks like I would, stealthy, crouched, hungrily licking her lips watching the rat oh-so-happily enjoying his breakfast, not at all realizing he's about to become breakfast himself! I do so hope Cami is kind enough to allow the innocent rat to enjoy finishing his meal before she starts hers. It's only fair he get to have a good breakfast when he's about to supply her with one! And besides, nothing makes my mouth water more than the thought of a fresh caught rat, his tummy plump, stuffed with grapes!

Tabatha had already expressed all the ways in which this is a wonderful comic page, doing a fantastic job at capturing the various emotions Rodent is going through, as well as playful, hungry look on Cami's face. This really is a great page 1, setting everything up for what's to follow next.
