Badge commission for mystymoon.deviantart.com on behalf of PoldalleLovesnare.deviantart.com of her snow leopard drow character, Kyndrix Narila.
This badge was a treat to do because I rarely get to draw a more human appearance to the face of a character that is part snow leopard. I'm very happy with the coloring of the hair and body. I didn't realize that the strand of hair runs under her clothing in the front until it was too late to fix it. XD
Her coat pattern is a mixture of runes and snow leopard spots.
Prismacolor colored pencil, marker, ink & white gel pen

Thank you :D There is a light base of grey marker underneath her hair and skin/fur to give my pencils a small break on filling her in. The background area in the upper right corner is a base of marker, then colored pencil over it and then marker again to create the orange streaking marks.
Thank you very much :D
I put down a light layer of grey marker on her hair and skin/fur before I started using the pencils to reduce the amount of depletion on them. The final result of starting with marker or pencil as a base seems to be the same. There is also a base of yellow marker in the upper right corner, layered over with orange and yellow pencil, then another layer of orange marker to create those line streaks.
