This was actually from a dream from a couple years back. I don't remember much of the 'before' and 'after', just the descent into cold, dark, deep waters and what was down there. Soft blue light coming up from below, strange dark architecture, and then of course these creatures. There were three of them, they stood out in yellow-gold, their movements very slow and fluid and deliberate, weightless, and they gave the impression of being quite intelligent. They did not speak, yet there was a faint "whispering" that I didn't understand, and while the location seemed silent, there was still this odd sort of pulse or rhythm to it, something that is felt more than heard.

Overall, it was eerie, but I did not actually feel threatened by these things, whatever they were.
