i was listening to these adorable van allen probe recordings with some friends and they reminded me of porpoises! so i appropriately designed some Space Porpoises for funsies

the young grow up sorta like baby crustaceans in that they have a p weird larval state. baby ghost porpoises hang around their mommies’ mouths, scrapping up bits of uneaten food and clinging onto their parents’ mouth tendrils to hitch a ride and for protection

its all very cute and i cant handle it

not really scientifically accurate at all and more of just sci fi lite, but i still really like these lil fellas
