I really like this. It definitely is a wonderful way to show the connection between yourself and your work.
What captures my attention is how your characters appear to blend in with your own self in a sort of "Circular Swirl". It, to me, implies you are a part of your characters and that your characters are a part of you.
The colored lines that stream about the image help add to the effect I mentioned above. The clearer space to the left portion of the image gives me the feeling of how realistic you are in real life. At the same time, though, the colored band in the left area also helps to link back to your characters as being what help drive you as an artist. So, for as serious as you can be, there is always a creative part to everything you see, or do.
The characters positioned primarily behind you, to me, illustrates that they are a part of who you are. You do not draw for the sake of drawing. These characters are truly a part of you. This is something, if I were in a hiring position, I'd love to see. Anyone can draw, but not everyone can make art in which they feel personally is a part of themselves.
As a writer, I delight in partnering with artists who don't see their characters as 2D drawings. They see them as real people, animals, or hybrids, that have lives that grow as the artist makes his, or her, way through life. So great job.
