I had a dream last night that I did this.
Like....i made a closed species based off my OC Utia im not even playing w you when I say is this shit random as hell.

Basically what I got for them rn is

-They're called Mockingods
-They're born from either artificial creation or large chemical changes that happen in outer space (aka the explosion of a star, the death of a sun, a wormhole closing, a galaxy forming)
-Like they're name implies...they're basically these spiritual-driven creatures....that survive by mimicking gods. They're powerful beings but their lifespan is really short. If they can accumulate worshipers they can live for millenniums as long as they're being worshiped.
-Mockingods are very tricky and underhanded beings. They will use their powers to manipulate elements around them to seem ethereal. (i.e. a mockingod manipulating the ocean and claiming to be Poseidon or Neptune or making it rain fire and claiming to be Ra)

-For a well-worshiped and all powerful god, Mockingods are only a tiny nuisance. For a younger and lesser known god they can be very dangerous. If a mockingod succeeds in fooling the worshipers of a real god, that mockingod will be able to take over. The original god will be forced to disappear.
-As far as size they're large enough to take their tail, wrap it around the moon orbiting Earth, and fly off with it. However they usually take a much smaller form to avoid using up all their life force.
-They don't require food but if they do eat anything it's meat. Drinking the blood of creatures (mainly pure ones) can extend their lifespan also.
-Mockingods also take the form of other creatures. Usually humans because they have the largest inventory of gods and seem to do the most worshiping. They will basically take the form of a creature, try to blend in with its surroundings, study the theology of the area and then start using it to fool people.
-There are some mockingods who will try to be fair and accumulate worshipers on their own without copying a god....but they don't usually survive.

-Mockingods mostly resemble harpies or seraph angels. They have wings with limited functionality around their head and fully functional ones that will protrude from their shoulders and/or back. The least amount of wings a mockinggod can have is 4. The largest amount is 20 (at that point they'll just look like a ball of wings though) The most common amount is 10. They also have rare traits like extra eyes, a horn halo, a large light halo on their back or multiple heads.

BUT YEH let me know what you think. This is also the base..that they'll be on....if I actually sell any. If It seems like people like them..I'll make another and put it up for OTA sometime this week.....because this one pictured....is mine....yeye MINE.
