Koreal is, upon inspection, not your average cheetah. Even just looking at his features, there's a bit... off.
The reason for this is that he's not a pureblooded cheetah, but a hybrid. He's half elven.
He has the cloak on because normally he has the hood up when among those who he'd rather not know his mixed breed heritage - in the world he's from, the two mainstream religions think that hybrids are an abomination and must be destroyed.
He wields a rapier, and combining it with his lightning fast speed, there's not much that he can't hit or deflect, but he can't hit very hard, cheetahs being built for speed, and elves not known for racially being strong themselves.
He is a Paladin of Ganas, Goddess of Chaos, something he's known for a few years, and has just within the last few months learned to cast magic. He's... not good at much aside from healing, blessing, and creating water, but in a world where prior he and his friends learning to cast magic there were... 10 casters, tops? He's slowly trying to learn to use his abilities a bit more, but he keeps getting distracted.
He's very loyal to his friends, something that has come in good stead due to his incessant irreverence (4 of his traveling companions are canids, another is lawful good), and random nature. Koreal tends to get bored easily, only having to 'sleep' (mediate) for 2 hours a night, and has lately taken to taunting the bear barbarian by hovering over the sleeping ursine, and leaving his fur as a calling card. Nevertheless, Koreal's wit, bouncy nature, and ability to think like a corkscrew has come in handy, and the rest of his companions do value having him around.
Koreal is the current weilder of the Frostblade, a blade created by the Gods themselves. Looking like a rapier made of solid ice, it does look like there are water droplets going down the blade, from hilt to tip. While not as powerful in combat as the other Godblades, the Frostblade does allow it's weilder to slip into people's dreams, a feature that Koreal does not appreciate. Two of the four times he used his power, he bathed himself for several hours and muttered afterwards that he still felt dirty.
Currently, Koreal has two goals in life, although a third has just entered the bottom of the list. First, he must complete the quest his group is on. Second, he needs to see the cougar who killed his father impaled on his blade. Third...
...Third wasn't expected. Third wasn't wanted. Third wasn't intended. Third can be a hinderence, Third is something that really should be struck off the list entirely, but what could be more chaotic than hope, eh?

Impressive texutre work on this fellow. What sort of material is his shirt made out of?
And also, your story background is well done for this character, I'd love to learn more about this setting sometimes, as it seems to be a good interpretation of the fantasy genre.

Koreal's shirt is actually a chainmail shirt. Light armor, it lets him move about quickly and nimbly while being able to hold off blows.
It's also mint flavored.
As for the story background, that's actually development during the campaign. Once the campaign is fully over and I get to learn everything about my character's history (I deliberately let the GM manipulate things so that it would better fit his plots), I'll write up a full background.
You'd want to look up Issac Coyote on Yiffstar, he writes the Leafblade Chronicles. He's teh GM.
