hmmm interesting idea for this character is that it invisible to the normal eye site since there cells vibrate at slight different frequency this there invisible to almost everyone, but the blind folk can sense them if there near by. To normal folk they be like ghost but they can interact with normal world to some degree.

Another idea is if something hit a specific pitch in frequency like say a tuning fork or a sound system with frequency generator could force to to be visible and it plausible they do leave a heat residue trail so reptile folk with heat sensing ability can see there some what there

another idea is this being who ever he or she touches can vibrate at there frequencies for small amount time before having let go also afterword it cause nausea and other side effect also if they doing some in the different frequencies it has cause weird effect like time dilation ( crashing and disappearing and 30 minute later crashing though the window even car stop they will still feel effect of the crash) or seeing alternate realities or windows or crack of them

hmmmm.... i like the first idea there :P
what i decided on the spot about these guys is that those horns on their heads are actually their ears and they don't hear stuff like normal people do; they sense the fine vibrations caused by soundwaves, picks them up and translates them in their head sorta like antennaes.
and they communicate by emitting sounds that're too high pitched for human ears, so we can't hear them. so it wouuld kinda make sense if we couldn't see them either lol!

* and electronic could would pick it up hehehehe so it be interesting have fun with with that if some group recording think there ghost and this fella here having fun messing with everyone
