I wasn't sure I was going to post this one here but I figured that I should to at least justify the many hours it took to paint it. A Silver Dragon and her rider taking a moment to themselves. This is one of the largest ceramics I've tried to tackle and by far one of the more frustrating. Yay for being clumsy. Paintbrush for scale since I am fresh out of bananas. xD

You'd think clumsiness would become less of an issue as the piece gets larger :P
Only niggly bits would be that the treestump looks a bit "untextured", though that must just be the piece itself. Also, her lips look a tad pale this way, but I'm not sure you even have a suitable colour for that or how well this paint mixes (hooker red seems a bit inappropriate, at least :P).

The paint mixes fine its just I didn't have anything that would have made an appropriate lip color and I didn't see it as justification of wasting a good amount of paint for just her lips sadly. As far as clumsiness I mean every time I turned around I've accidentally dropped the paintbrush or brushed against a portion already painted. A lot of those colors were hand mixed from other colors thus I'd have to repaint whole sections to get the coloring right again. =/ This one took a lot longer than I would have liked due to that. I may later fix her lips if I can find a more cost effective way to mix my colors.
