a little backstory for my character, Falciet

Falciet is an incubus, a creature born from sexual and emotional desires or dreams of mortal men or women. He was created in a rare occurrence of a man wishing for another man. In this era, it was forbidden for men to develop relationships with other men, as populations were plummeting due to plague and disease.
The person who wished for Falciet, without even realizing it, was a devout man struggling with strange urges in a strictly religious community.
Waking in a decrepit forest glen, it didn't take long for him to seek out the priest.
Though their relationship was a well-kept secret, the man one day discovered that Falciet was an incubus, upon seeing his true form.
From that day on, the man banished all incubi from entering the kingdom and it was from then on that Falciet decided he would forever keep himself hidden behind a human disguise.
Even as a century or more had passed, Falciet still watches the priest's family from afar, living out in the wastes and helping other wayward demons find a place of safety and community and hoping one day that his kind would be able to rejoin society and come out from hiding.
