venumals are a bioweapon genetically engeneered in secret. those who escaped learned to both adapt and evolve, others however have become different…and monstrous.

some venumals after escape were defected in the biological design of their kind, Their polymorphic cell structure was compromised or infected somehow, possibly by chemical reaction with a substance they didnt build an immunity to and so it changed them radically.
these are mutations

mutated venumals have varios deformities, but some are shared and hence the mutation is spotted, they exert physical abnormalities such disproportionate limbs and their third eye does not possess hypnotic suggestion, however it does allow extra sensory capabilities.

also this variant is less cunning and intelligent then its cousins, mutated venumals are entirely driven by the killing instinct until they die or are killed themselves, making them irrational and violent, even attacking their own kind, leading to a battle between them.

this murderous priority declines them of their shapeshifting capabilities, leaving them at a disadvantage so they cant blend in, but they make up for that in immense physical strength and agility, but also there toxic venom is unique, as unlike regular venumal poison if another species is infected by a mutant, they will either perish, or the mutating DNA of the creature will infect and transform them into a mutant venemal, just as destructive and thoughtless.
