Cult Classics Pair #1 Sketch

Sketched these up last weekend. I made an attempt to do the legendary birds, but my panels are a little too small and wasn't doing them the justice I want for them so I decided I would save that for another time. I did get a couple of birds in there though. I'm not really liking these, but they're all I've got from an idea I had on a whim, so I'm rolling with it. Inked them yesterday and working on coloring them the past two nights. Can you guess what cult movie references (and characters) these guys are representing?
