SUPER HEY KIDS 3D!!
Oh. Forgot about this. Was messing around with ZBrush a few months ago, and I needed something I could build that wasn't covered in fur, so I did a remake of this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/619774/
Yeah, I didn't use it as REFERENCE, so much as I just VAGUELY KEPT IT IN MIND.
I've been trying to import this damn thing into Blender so I can get a decent render out of it, but I'm beset with problems. I can't figure out how to get the eyes, teeth, tongue and what passes as a spinal segment exported into an .obj file, and Blender seems to be crashing whenever it invokes YAFRay, so you get a shitty ZBrush render instead. Hurray!

Not sure how Zbrush works as I'm only familiar with 3DStudio Max (so far), but, maybe you should try and get the eyes, teeth, tongue and spinal segment attached or merged with the base head model. It should work fine as you are not going to rig or animate the face, having them all together as one object should do fine for now. Sounds to me like you can get the head imported fine its just those parts that are giving you the trouble.
Hmm, well then I'm not really sure since I haven't used Zbrush. Maybe it's just a Blender issue then.
A way to test is if Zbrush allows you to move different objects (Which I'm sure it would). If you can move the eyes, tongue, etc on its own, then they are separate. If you try to grab and move anything and the whole head moves (via X,Y, or Z) then they are all attached and is one whole object.
