after many months I've finally finished it!

this is a Draguru eel that is a part of a world that I am creating.

found only in the depths of the Draguru rift and later to also be found in the Pariah trench. A link between them has solidified that they both are the same species.
note: a newly discovered cave system has been found linking the Draguru Rift and the Pariah trench that is used by the eels as a superhighway for them to find food in the richer waters in the rift and the predator free area of the Pariah to bare their young.
they are egg layers. the eggs are laid in crevices between rocks. after birth they will grow slowly until they reach their full length of about 4-5 meters long. the "egg tooth" stays with the eel throughout it's life and does not normally grow larger than 1-1.5 feet long. on rare occasions the egg tooth is completely missing. (born without one is extremely rare because normally ones who developed without one in the egg are not usually able to free itself out of the leathery eggshell.)
