Well, looks like I fell in love- once again :) His name is Karl, in summer he'll be in our shelter for two years so it's time for him to move- move straight into my house ;D The only tiny problem I still have is... the boy is a little bit...ahm...big... 90cm (35,4 inches) from ground to shoulder with 64kg (141 pounds). The fact that he is a Kangal and therefore pretty protective doesn't make it the slightest bit easier buuuuut... he is soooo cute ;_; totally adorable <3 If everything goes the way it should then he is mine by june'ish ^__^

Yupp, same here, I am quite tall but he is larger than me if he stands on his backlegs :> He does have some problems with strangers as he is very protective, the reason why he hasn't found a home yet. But seeing he isn't my first dog and /also not my last xD ), I believe we can manage :D
When we were living in another town, we had neighbours who did not know dogs well, but got a Kangal. They couldn't control him and he would repeatedly attack our malamute Mischa on sight, causing Mischa to develop visible psychological trauma which took many months to fade.
I still hate those people. (Not the dog though. I am just sad that he couldn't have owners who were worthy of him.)
