King Koopa - Squish, Squish, Squish...
Dated 22/10/08
King Koopa trampling some tiny creatures... and rather enjoying himself in the process.
Not much to say about this one, really. I was just in the mood for some King Koopa chunky-footed squishyness, so I put this together over the course of an afternoon. It harkens back to a more enjoyable time for me in some ways, because this is all my art used to be; simple to do, but fun to look at. I've been busy back at uni lately so keeping it simple is probably a good thing in the meantime. That is why this one is just cell shaded and not particularly detailed, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who will enjoy looking at it.

The only thing that stinks is they couldn't get the licensing to the original music they had for it so now it's all replaced with techno.
Although I can't think of many people that could forgot this; heh:

Indeed. A city scene would probably have been cooler, but I just wanted to get this one done.
Never mind though, I'm sure I'll end up doing a picture involving a macro dragon and a city scene soon...
*wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* *accidentally knocks Draconis off his chair*

Like i wrote in Big Clawz forum, not is fair that you draw King Koopa because, everytime you did it, i risk to die because one of my favourite foot artist draw my favourite foot-character... it's too for me
What can i say? Thank you very much for your thinks to me, King Koopa looks always so powerful and dominant from your hands, and his feet (especially his right wrigled sole ) are something to live and die! ... Every little man in this art is a little Giran
thank that you exist, RRRex!

Koopa and Bowser will always be two different characters in my mind, they just both have two way different personalities aside from their character's appearances.
I've always seen Koopa as the smelly guy, the rank and terrible stench emenating from his feet and armpits...and this just really adds so much agreement to that mental image. :)

Mmm, nice. I've always loved King Koopa; I think he's one of the best villians in gaming history, simply because he does his thing, and does it well.
Very nicely done. The pleasure on his face is so evident, I can't help but laugh. Hmm... I wonder what it'd be like to be under those big footpaws of his...

I'm glad someone mentioned the fingers! That always does it for me too.
As for buildings, don't worry - there'll be some other macro city stompage coming along in the not-too-distant future...
(Nudges in the direction of Draconis' reply)
Lol! Thanks, Tyrnn.

I kinda find strange/ironic that you think your art is/was simple to do and fun to look at.
Personally, I think your art is NOT simple to do (no offense intended), yet is LOOKS simple to me. As fir the "fun" factor, I could agree with you, but it kinda depends on the drawing. Tydo been made into a pulpy goo is not that fun to me... is kinda sad... (again, no offense intended)

Heh - I think you misunderstand what I was emphasising. Firstly, the majority of work I have shown to the fandom has not been of the simplicity that I always used to draw for myself; this piece is somewhat more simple than most, which is what made me harken back to those days. And when I say "fun", I mean "fun" in a particular mature sort of way...
Lol!
Lol!
Now I understand. Thanks for the clear up.
I didn't noticed until now, but I cant help but "giggle" a little by seen King Koopas arms and the way they are. It's as if I can feel the joy/happyness he's getting out of squashing innocent people.
To be honest, I've never felt felt this way towards a drawing. I guess I REALLY like it.

And I will say its a pretty good complement to King Koopa from the cartoons. In this pic though, he kinds looks like the Grinch from his face and long fingers. Not that its a bad thing. Hes still a rather handsome koopa in his own right. I think those people down there should be glad their getting stomped by the king hehe.
King Koopa is the law, when I saw for the first time, King Koopa he made one of my favorite characters, and now thanks to your art now Rexar is another one of my three favorite characters.
I love King Bowser, I love his feet, I want to lick his feet, I want to smell his feet, and I want to be trampled, squished, stomped by him an stick to his sooft and smelly feet.

Koopa: Take that humans!
Maru from afar: He enjoys this.
DarkusDragon: I bet he does. But why waste foot power on humans when it can be an army of Mikes and Tydos?
Maru: March of the Minis?
DarkusDragon: LOL. That would be a good title for it but March of the Furries?
Maru: Just let us stay out of it.
DarkusDragon: True.
