Another night of passion. Well, okay it was one-sided passion but it was good for all involved.

David never minded Laura's lack of enthusiasm in sex, she more than made up for it in her technique. And while she rarely moaned or guided him, he was starting to pick up on what he was doing right. All in all, sex every week was going good.

Then Laura came to him and said she was pregnant.

"I can't believe it! That's wonderful!" David pretty much sputtered over and over. He let his enthusiasm get the better of him.

"No David, I'm not keeping it." Laura responded.

What followed were months of variations on this conversation. Laura didn't believe in abortion, and felt adoption was fair for all in involved. David tried to convince her this was an opportunity to have a family, and be... together.

"David, we're not a couple. We've talked about this many times. And while I'm sure it's yours, I'm not completely sure."

"I know... it's just... If you were going to- I'd want to be a part of his... or her life."

"You're so naive." Laura grumbled.

Despite some rockiness in their relationship over her pregnancy, and his hopeful insistence that they could start their family, David never snapped or stopped helping. Really, Laura had to admit that taking care of her was the most responsible she'd ever seen the party animal be. She wouldn't say it to his face, but she was growing to respect him in another way.

I'm really getting more attached to these two. I think I'll make a series around them. Just need more fleshing out, and learn how to write jokes. ;p
