i think i have an unhealthy obsession with combining the horrors of snakes and scorpions 0_0

this is my second sona character i decided to make based on resident evil type creatures, power ranger monsters and mythical reptiles/arachnids.

info: venumals are hybrid genetically engineered monsters created as biological weapons, however due to the instability of their viscous nature they escaped and began to infest secluded dark areas.

habitiat: dark secluded damp areas e.g caves, jungle clearings
name etymology: combination of words venenum=venom and malum=evil.

venumals are biologically abnormal when it comes to physical traits, their bodies are scaled like most reptile species but humanoid limbs and bodies are partly covered in arachnid body armour, not unlike chitin (the material that makes up arthropod exoskeletons) they have a very malleable muscle structure allowing them to stretch their limbs to a degree, and some have stingers protruding from odd angles like the sides of their bodies or on their backs, still capable of producing toxic venom.

another oddity is a third eye located in its chest, this has devolved an odd ability for hypnotic suggestion, able to lure their victims in with a trance like state. after there escape from captivity it was realised they were intelligent, but have only the goal of killing in secret as a common and priority instinct, also they are asexual so they reproduce without mates, though some give off a feminine or masculine physique they do no way reproduce, mate or express any behaviour to these subjects. therefore they multiply through cellular mitosis, at certain points such as increase in temperature levels they split into two different creatures, this however is rare.

they are weak to anything that can slash their softer exposed scale
parts and have an aversion to extreme cold, but drink cold fluids, in fact the species variety only consumes liquids of indifferent temperature and not solid foods, it is presumed the rest of their energy is gathered from the draining of blood and unlighted absorbed through the scales.

but probably the most freighting aspect is thiere polymorphic cells structure, enabling some of them to camouflage there appearance to suit there surroundings,similar to chameleons, while others mimic the appearance and actions of other creatures, such as humans, even down to clothes, but facial features are difficult so some wear masks as precautions.

a new creature is made, a new nightmare is born….

so yeah i made a new creature character, iv never done anything like this before except maybe on deviant art when I'm on there but i hope its ok, sorry if its not what people expect though, just wanted to try it out.

btw the pattern for the creature is taken from the mask on the right, witch is drawn from my real life masked used on omegle, why wear a mask? I'm paranoid and shy, now you know my awe full secret XP
