*hugs a gator* Thank you, studness. It's a challenge for me to do water. I find it difficult to visualize...but I think I'm getting there. I was pleased with how the "whole" of this came out. I hope to do better in the future.
I'll tell you one thing that really made the difference in this piece and "that" was using bristol board for the final. It takes up graphite better than I would have thought and then really smooths out when using blenders and smudgers. This is the bristol board I got for inking...but come to find out that it bleeds. I didn't know "what" I was going to do with the board, then I just used it as a lark for my dolphin and here ya go!
