Presenting: Redy the engineer dragon
Today I present Redy, a new character that was created as a second avatar for me. Redy represents all that is related with technology, geek stuff and games. As you can see he is kinda of chubby and is a stereotypical (also satirical) portrayal of the hard gamer type attitude that is a fan of the PC master race idea and all those shenanigans (no he doesn't play COD or any of that crap). He also has a brother called Blurry that is a console fan.
I hope you like this character. Ah, also remember to follow the glorious path of the PC Mustard Race (lol, just joking).

Awesome! I really, really love his design! He's extremely cool looking! And despite being chubby and a nerd, he still looks powerful and strong as hell! I really, really like this guy! I'd hate to see him rage quit though XDDD. Really awesome job on this! :)
What are his colors?

No problem friend! I really love his design! You really did a great job drawing his legs and tail! I really like his head design and spikes too! He still looks strong and muscular as hell despite being a nerd lol. Guess he is one bed you wouldn't want to mess with lol. Even though he appears mean and rude, he looks really nice and gentle. Almost make me want to hug the big guy lol.
More like a Godzillaesqe smashing up the PC and destroying everything in the room and the walls XDDD
Ooooooo, that sounds REALLY cool! Are you going to color him? I'd love to see him colored! :)

Yeah, he is a nice guy, you could enjoy his company. Well...I will post the drawing some day but you can see it here

It is funny. Even though he is really kind, he looks angry all the time lol. But yeah, it would be awesome to hang out with him! We could talk about computer/IT stuff and then we could go home and play games together! We would make an awesome team. Decimating all who oppose us lol.
Wow, thats really cool! The colors make him look even more epic! I really like the style! It makes him look cute lol.

Well its difficult to compare amd and nvidia cards since some things run better on one or the other but yeah a 290x is faster.
I just reused the gtx 770 from my old PC that kinda died, since it could run most stuff 1080p maxed out or almost maxed out (Including GTA V)
and rather put extra money towards the CPU since i use my PC for work too where i want lots of single threaded performance and this i7 delivers it.

Uhm, The Inter Core i7 is a multithread centered CPU, if you want strong single thread performances and gaming then the Intel Core i5-4690k is the correct CPU (Core i3s are not because thay have less instructions and a slower L3 cache among other things... and they are freaking boring without unlocked multipler, not even think about the Pentium G3258 it´s a simple toy).
I bought my R9 because it has the highest SP and DP perfromance leading it to more than 6 Teraflops. I chose my FX because it is cheap, unlocked and is a cool CPU (I am refering to its relatively low temperature and excelen IHS). I can get 4.3Ghz easily even with the cheapest motherboard. I have the plan to upgrade my motherboard to a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 to archive more than 4.7Ghz. And I want a CPU ready for 4K, and the FX line is more than cappable, even more cappable than the i7-4960X.

Well... https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html
But yes i know its at the top just because of its stock 4.4GHz turbo mode. I know the i5 version when overclocked is just as fast, but since my budget didn't have to include the graphics card i rather payed a bit more and get the speed stock along with low heat output, Hyperthreading can come in useful sometimes anyway. By the way i have a Pentium G3440T on the way in the mail for a project.
That gtx 770 i bought over a year and a half ago or something and it offered good speed for the not ridiculously high price at the time. I will keep this card for while too since i don't plan buying a new one until i have to drop settings lower than high to keep 60fps. I don't have a fancy 144Hz or 4K display to need more. The software i use (CAD tools, C compilers, FPGA design etc) does not use GPU acceleration for anything else than graphics so raw floating point performance was not a consideration.
