Gummy Dee Duvall; "Ya still need some work on the hands bud.
First time actually trying digital art.
I still suck, but this was too fun NOT to post.
...ugh. Dat lineart tho...
Character Bio:
"There's a new cat in town!Hit it!
Gummy Dee Duvall is a cartoon created in the 1930s. His humor was both slapstick and silly with hints of subtle, adult humor. Despite this, he was not truly popular until 1942. Due to the timing, quite a few of his episodes were filled with propaganda from WW2, which included quite a bit of anti-japanese sentiments.
His studio later went under and he was forgotten for years.
...Unfortunately, corporate greed kicked in and he was set to air in the year 1998.
"..Yeah, THAT went over well. Didn't even hit the screen before those fatheads snapped their caps and gave me crap."
...and he was scrapped again, his entire season being tossed into storage, never to see the light of day.
Well...that'd be the case, if a thief didn't manage to clean out the studio-owner's house. Deemed useless, the CD was tossed on the side of the road, where a youngster by the name of 'Donny' would later happen upon this data.
Donny wasn't interesting. He wasn't anything amazing. He had no talents whatsoever.
...and it was because of this reason, his imagination went wild, giving the problem-cartoon sentience within his mind. Most would call it an imaginary friend, but Gummy was something even more frightening, sneaking into his thoughts and egging him into doing things he never thought he'd do, showing off knowledge that Donny himself didn't have. Needless to say, it was interesting. Gummy took him under his wing, pissed at the world for cancelling his series and slowly molded Donny into what could only be described as a mischievous hell-raiser.
...and it should have stopped there. It didn't. What occurred next could only be a conglomeration of magic, cartooney nonsense, and pure shenanigans. They merged. They became something else. Something impossible. A living toon.
"...and here I am. I'd...like to think I'm a good guy, buuuut... this ol' fuddy-duddy can't stop the 'fun train' sometimes."
Most of his abilities are almost reality-breaking, and can only be described as 'toon force'. His most prominent showings is his ability to turn an entire town into a toony mirror of it's former self and the fact that his voice sounds like it's coming out of an old radio. Luckily, most of his abilities depend on his nonsensical nature and chaotic thoughts, which makes him less likely to actually cause harm...though that isn't to say he doesn't have a nasty attitude.
