Okay, when I first saw this building, I thought it was a church!
But it is indeed a historical 'post office' here in Washington, DC. There is a reallly creepy statue of Ben Franklin out front, which I may decided to upload in scraps just because he looks evil!
But anyway, I just liked this building and wanted to do something creative since the sun was at a really nice angle.
Very minor Photoshopping, just a level correction and slight color adjustment to get rid of a blue tint. Blue tint occurred because I can only use one filter on this lens at a time, any more than that and I get some vignetting, so I skipped the UV filter and just went with a Circular Polarizer to help bring out some colors and so I could use a somewhat slower shutter rather than an insane shutter speed like 1/4000 at f/12 or something.
