So with my new account set up, I reveal the final design for my personal character Rhos!
Although I'll be using her for as close to a "fursona" as it will get for me, she is at heart a character parallel to her dragon rider Leonard that my fiance
and I have been writing short stories about for years. Although there's a bit of me in there, she is her own character, very separate and different from myself. She and her rider share a very.. antagonistic relationship. They bicker a lot. Shes cranky and headstrong, hes stubborn and not exactly the smartest guy out there.
Within the short stories, her lore is closely tied with Celtic/Welsh myths and legend. If any of you know where her name comes from, you get extra brownie points!

Oh me too! And I absolutely love your character design as well, the earthy colors and the season change is so, so cool. Ha, her muzzle has been like that for so long and I've drawn it so many times sometimes I forget its a little on the different side, but I still love it! I have a little pseudo science explanation behind it too. Aww, thanks so much! Celtic things, especially music, make my heart sing!

I also love how your teeth baaaarely stick out when you have your mouth closed in that frontal one. I find that super adorable for some reason, especially on like baby alligators. :x

Aw thank you so much! I was actually somewhat worried that people wouldn't dig it, or wouldn't really get it, although I have always liked it a lot and thought it was cute! I've been drawing her like that for so long I kinda forgot that its a little bit different!
Oh well any fantasy writer would of course interpret a creature slightly differently! Its like Tolkain elves and Paolini elves. Sorry If I sounded a little harsh as well! Seems like no matter if I call her a wyvern or a dragon, someone always has a problem with it xD
